Firstly let me say this is a great way to acknowledge and show appreciation to staff of the Papamoa Plaza complex. My family have lived here for 6 generations and frequently shop here because it's not only convenient but we have watched the place grow and develop and have gotten to know the people who have served here over the years.One of the staff in particular is Sheena who has been there for a number of years and everyday she greets with a smile and is a very genuine person. She's helpful & very informative which is "key" and is approachable and most of all makes us feel valued. We get this treatment not only for one day "makes your day", but every day! Which in my eyes qualifies her as most deserving!You have a lot of key staff whom we value who are just as deserving for example the forecourt cleaners, so its nice to know that they are included in this competition because they are the staff who keep the place maintained.

Jenny works in the seafood department. I was so excited to see tarakihi on special because we really can't afford it normally, but as I forlornly looked at the last small fillet knowing it wasn't going to be enough to feed the family Jenny went out the back and found the last remaining tray and then gave me what I needed at the same special price. Thanks Jenny, for helping my family and I enjoy a rare treat.

Essa is a very caring person. On the day before lockdown she phoned me and said if you can get here in the next hour I can cut and colour your hair, my next appointment with her would have been the 30th March. I live in Matata so this was exceptional service. The day before we went to level 2 I get a call to say I had been booked in for a cut and colour, again this lovely lady was thinking of her clients. She always has a smile on her face and nothing is too much trouble.
